Numbery

A fellowship of the intake, welcomed home to Aldershot & Farnborough.

In the Gurkha community, a numbery is a fellow member of your recruit intake — the young men who were selected together, received their Army numbers together and trained side by side. The bond formed in that first year is carried for life, across regiments, continents and generations.

Numbery exists to explain that tradition to a wider audience and to offer every numbery the support of the local area of Aldershot & Farnborough, long the home of the British Army and of one of the largest Nepali communities in the United Kingdom.
